Greetings on behalf of the Odessa Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

We are one of the most dynamic and hardest working chapters in the Blazing Southwest Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. We are a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. The organization is a sisterhood of predominately Black college-educated women. Since its founding, more than 300,000 women have joined the organization. The Sorority has over 900 collegiate and alumnae chapters located in the United States, the Arabian Gulf, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Germany, Jamaica, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the Virgin Islands. Deltas exemplify dedication to an extensive array of public service programs with a focus on educational development, economic development, international awareness, political awareness, and physical & mental health initiatives.

We are excited about leveraging our collaborations with our community partners to uplift the Odessa Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta. If you are a Delta looking for a chapter home, there is a place for you.

Our program will focus on five specific areas of impact (5-Point Programmatic Thrust): Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness & Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, Political Awareness & Involvement.

Program participants can expect to take advantage of creative, relevant projects that will inspire participants to dream bigger and achieve more to enhance our community and world.
